Overview
CT Technologist (Radiology) – Travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Start date 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,777 - $2,919 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM EST with on-call/callback responsibilities, holidays and occasional weekends. Work setting: acute-care imaging department in a hospital environment. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; strictly adhere to department safety policies.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging and ensure appropriate protocol selection.
- Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and assist with IV placement when necessary.
- Position patients and perform safe patient handling; may involve lifting or moving patients with limited mobility.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and ensure images are transmitted correctly to the PACS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe scanning area and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stocked.
Requirements
- NYS licensure to practice radiologic technology; licensure must be obtained prior to starting.
- Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an approved school; maintain ARRT certification (Radiography), with CT credential preferred.
- NYS injection therapy certification stated on the license at time of submission; injection certification is preferred and may be completed during orientation.
- Minimum 2 years CT experience; Level 1 Trauma Center experience; BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Knowledge of EPIC documentation and PACS workflows; knowledge of Philips and Siemens CT equipment is preferred.
- Availability to work the listed schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM EST with on-call/callback, plus holidays and occasional weekends.
