Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider orders.
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in respiratory needs; adjust therapy per orders as appropriate.
- Administer prescribed therapies (e.g., oxygen, airway clearance, aerosolized medications) and document patient responses.
- Calibrate and operate respiratory equipment; ensure patient safety and equipment functioning.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record; use Epic for orders and Pyxis for medication handling.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team; participate in patient education and care planning as needed.

Requirements
- Active Ohio RCP license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association only
- Must have RRT (not CRT)
- Proficiency with Epic and Pyxis or willingness to learn quickly
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour day shift schedule and cover every other weekend/holiday
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform routine duties in a clinical setting
